Born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, I am the youngest of eight siblings. My father has passed away, but my parents, both everyday people and U.S. Army veterans, instilled strong values in me. I graduated from Jean Ribault Senior High School and went on to earn my bachelor's degree in English with an emphasis in professional writing, graduating cum laude from Grand Canyon University. Currently, I am an Avon independent sales ambassador. I am a Christian, a proud Florida girl, and an encourager. As a blogger, sports fan, foodie, disabled woman, word search enthusiast, ambivert, and everyday woman, I embrace my multifaceted identity. I live in Jacksonville with my mom, cherishing my roots and the vibrant community that shapes me.

When I say, I am a Christian I’m not shouting, I am Saved I’m whispering, I was lost That’s why I chose his way. When I say, I am a Christian I don’t speak of this with pride I’m confessing that I stumble needing God to be my guide. When I say, I am a Christian I’m not trying to be strong I’m professing strength to carry on. When I say, I am a Christian I’m not bragging of success I’m admitting I have failed And cannot ever pay the debt When I say, I am a Christian I don’t think I know it all I submit to my confusion Asking humbly to be taught. When I say, I am a Christian I’m not claiming to be perfect My flaws are all too visible But God believes I’m worth it. When I say, I am a Christian I still feel the sting of pain I have my share of heartaches which is why I seek His name. When I say, I am a Christian I do not wish to judge I have no authority I only know I’m loved.

Life is a miracle Don’t let it Slip away, open your heart to others Give of yourself each day. See the beauty in everyone Regardless of where they’ve been, Some have a difficult journey And really need a friend. Share your gifts and talents Listen with your heart. Do the things you dream But don’t have time to Start. Pick a bouquet of flowers Show Someone that you care, Be gracious and forgiving Life is never fair. Hold on to your courage You may need it down the road, We all have a Cross to bear It could be a heavy load. If you practice all these things No matter Where you roam, You may find both sun and rain But you’ll never feel alone.
