Born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, I am the youngest of eight siblings. My father has passed away, but my parents, both everyday people and U.S. Army veterans, instilled strong values in me. I graduated from Jean Ribault Senior High School and went on to earn my bachelor's degree in English with an emphasis in professional writing, graduating cum laude from Grand Canyon University.
