We, as Christians, are told over, over, over, over again. We are in the world but not of the world. That is true, and how are we not of the world? We show Jesus Christ in our everyday lives through our actions, words, ideas, thoughts, social media posts, etc. People will notice that we are different from the world, and they want to know why that will allow us the opportunity to share Jesus. Sometimes we, as Christians, can act like the world that can confuse people and won’t be able to tell us apart. God gives us grace and mercy everyday to do better. Jesus was not from this world while living in the world; his actions, words, ideas, and thoughts were not of the world but of the Father. Jesus is the perfect example of us continuing not to be of this world.
