The National day of Prayer

The National day of Prayer is an annual day of observance held on the first Thursday of May of every year it is to encourage all Americans of all faiths to pray for our nation and our leaders. The theme for this year national day of Prayer is pray for America as you know America does need a whole lot of Prayer of what it is wrong like legalizing weed, legalizing gay marriage, Killings, wars and so many other things America has turns it’s back on God thinking it can’t do without God the bible says without God it is impossible and you can’t do nothing you tell me how far you get with that and you let me know. For me Prayer is a part of my life it is a part of my Faith it is my duty as a Christian and it is a part of my daily devontional that I do every morning 1st I read the word of God and then I pray I open up my day with prayer and I end my day with prayer the National day of Prayer it’s fine it’s cool but I don’t need it to tell me when to pray every day is a day of Prayer for me.

A Scripture from Matthew 6:9-13

In this manner, therefore, pray:
Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliever us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

A Scripture from Romans 12:19

Never take revenge, my friends, but instead let God’s anger do it. For the scripture says, I will take revenge, I will pay back, says the Lord.
