I graduated from Jean Ribault Senior High School and went on to earn my bachelor's degree in English with an emphasis in professional writing, graduating cum laude from Grand Canyon University. Currently, I am an Avon independent sales ambassador. I am a Christian, a proud Florida girl, and an encourager. Faith

The foundation of my life is faith. My faith assures me that regardless of appearances, the unconditional love of God sustains me always. I build my life on faith through prayer. I am spiritually whole and complete, strong and secure. With each prayer, my experience of God’s love grows ever stronger. If winds of ill health , lack , unrest, or indecision blow against me, I stand firm. I do not waver. I have faith that the carriers me through any storm of life with absolute peace in my heart. Nothing I have done or will do can separate me from the love of God. God’s love erase any past mistake and allows me to begin anew. Because I am centered in God, I am at peace. Like a house built upon rock, I stand strong in the love of God.

Spirit

Robin Sykes

Spirit speaks to me in many ways. If I don’t listen to the inner urging of Spirit, I may feel doubtful or uncertain. If I don’t act from the truth I know my life may seem like a house built on sand, with a foundation that shifts perilously in the winds of challenge. I make sure my life is on solid ground. I reinforce and strengthen its foundation by doing as Jesus taught: Have faith in God. Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it and it will be yours. Forgive, if you have anything against anyone. Today I keep my mind focused on life-affirming, loving, positive thoughts. As I do, I become strong and secure against the winds of adversity. In prayer and meditation, I call to mind the words of Jesus. I let them fill my awareness and ring in my heart. They become such a part of me that I express my divine nature in all I do. I create an inner haven of safety and peace.

Following Jesus

And anyone who gives up his home, brothers, sisters, father, mother, wife, children or property to follow me shall receive a hundred times as much in return and shall have eternal life.
Matthew 19:29
What this scripture says to me is give up everything you have and follow Jesus because you are gonna get it back in more and why follow Jesus? He won’t leave you hanging He don’t make mistakes nobody can’t do what He does He is who He says He is He is Jesus He is the Christ the Messiah the Son of the Most High God He will stand on His Word He is El Shaddai He is more than enough etc, etc and etc. He should be the most important one to follow to love than your family I’m not saying you shouldn’t love your family don’t get it twisted love your family they are important to you I have seen this scripture so many times in the Bible didn’t understand it me and my Mom was talking about this scripture I was the one that brought it up. As me and my Mom was talking about this I said I’m glad I’m following Jesus now with this scripture I’m more committed to follow Him loving Him doing what He says my Mom said you got the Rhema word of it I’m like let’s go Jesus let’s do this who wouldn’t want to follow Jesus? As we follow Jesus it’s not gonna be easy nobody is not gonna understand it we are not gonna understand it and it’s gonna befit us this show call not a fan it be’s on TBN it is a good show this came to my mind about this scripture it’s on Facebook and Twitter I told my Mom I said I’m glad I am giving you up my Mom said I didn’t tell you to follow me I said follow me as I follow Jesus as I see it Jesus was using family home property as metaphors don’t get that twisted either if you are not follow Jesus you got a problem who else you gonna follow?

Lord, strengthen my resolve to live by the wisdom that comes only from You. Give me the discernment to live all of life from Your point of view that I might know the blessings of a life lived wisely.
