Reconciliation

Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation. 2 Corinthians 5:18(NKJV)

On August 3rd, 2017, me and David reconcile after we got into a disagreement about a money issue. The reason I reconcile with him because I loved him and cared more about the relationship than the money issue. I am not sure did he felt the same way now, we are no longer together when it comes to people that have done me wrong I don’t usually reconcile with them I kick them to the curb and leave them there. When I was reconciling with David, it’s like I was showing the Spirit of Reconciliation to him this is the first of many this reminds me how God reconcile with us through his Son, Jesus. God loved us He wanted to be with us to start a relationship with us He cares more about us than our sins so; He sent Jesus to die for us and shed his blood. He is not like us that hold grudges saying why I should forgive you or want to reconcile with you? With all the sins, you have done to me go to HELL. Lol, we will be on our way there gather around the air condition begging for some water crying saying God doesn’t want us no more. Thank God, Thank God, He is not like that. All of Us were like the lost son (Luke 15:11-32 NLV) want to spend our parent’s money live a wild life think wild, wild, wild thoughts (DJ Khaled, n.d.) you may not have heard that song before ask your kids they know. After the son spends his money living a wild life thinking wild thoughts didn’t get him anywhere he finds himself living on the street having no money working in a shelter realize he were living a blessed life having a roof over his head having clothes on his back having food to eat living his Dad and their employees. He decides to get out the shelter and go back home he had plan in his head to tell his Dad I am sorry for what I have done I am not worthy to be called your son hire me like I am one your employees. As he were little bit far away the Father saw him and the son saw the Father they ran to each other, they embrace, they hugged it out, they cried, they reconciled. He said to his Dad I am sorry for what I have done I am not worthy to be called your son the Father said to him Forget about that you are home bro you are home I am glad for you to be home. If you read verse 20 in Luke 15 it is about reconciliation if you think about it, it feels good to be reconciled with others to be accepted back in each other lives. For those of us that have received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior we have been reconcile back to God and let’s spread of the Spirit of Reconciliation to everyone.
