But I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead.
Philippians 3: 13, NLT
This Bible Scripture above is my favorite because it encourages me to forget what happened in my past, including past mistakes, failures, memories, bad actions, wrong choices, etc. The past is past. I can’t change my past. I can’t put my focus on what happened in the past; I can’t erase it. It’s done. If I continue to focus on my past, I will miss what’s ahead of me. I am going to crash. Also, I can’t have my past distract me from moving forward. I must put it behind me. Forget about it. Also, it encourages me to look ahead, which are new opportunities, new beginnings, new relationships, new connections, etc. focusing on now, working and fulfilling my goals, and continuing to improve. Keep moving forward and looking towards the future.
What is your favorite Bible Scripture?
Keep moving forward,
Robin
