Kindness

I apologize for the glance that is covering the letters ay.

I was given this button at church on Sunday, October 27th, 2019. It comes from the movie called a beautiful day in the neighborhood. The film is about kindness triumphing over cynicism, based on the true story of a real-life friendship between Fred Rogers and journalist Tom Junod. After Tom was given the assignment of Fred Rogers, he overcomes his skepticism, learning about empathy, kindness, and decency from America’s most beloved neighbor. This movie comes out on November 22nd this movie will give you and your family a valuable lesson in being kind. When you are kind, it makes you feel good as you are doing good to others. When you show kindness to a person or group of people, it affects them and you too. Kindness goes around. You never know exactly how huge of an effect a little act of kindness can have. Also, when you are kind, you have one of the fruits of the Spirit. After watching this movie, it can make your Thanksgiving and every day a little kinder. Read Galatians 5:22.

Keep your eyes on Jesus

Weistling, n.d.

When I was a kid, I was at this church for an event; I can’t remember what event it was. I was looking at Jesus, pulling Peter out of the water. My former choir director, said to me, what does it tell you about life? I didn’t know the answer to that question. She said, don’t ever take your eyes off of Jesus. I am saying the same thing to you when life is knocking you down, around, and all over the place, keep your eyes on Jesus. Read Matthew 14:22-33.

Much Love and Many Blessings,

Robin

Live, Laugh and Love

Live, Laugh, and Love is one of the mottos that I live by.

Live

Live means alive; I am blessed to be alive. I am living not just existing. It is a blessing to be living on the top of the grass than having the grass be on the top of me. I am in excellent health. I have the activity of my limbs. I am moving and breathing. I am in my right mind; I can think for myself and take care of myself, such as eat for myself, clothe myself, and bathe myself. Doing activities that interest me and that I enjoy.

Laugh

I love to laugh. I laugh at anything laughable such as a joke, funny thought, or comment that someone has said. I have an incredible time when I am laughing, laughing is so much fun. There is a quote that is on my Instagram page; it says, “Life is better when you are laughing.” That is so true because of the more I laugh; the more life will be better will be more enjoyable and will help me to deal with life’s struggles.

Love

When I talk about love, I am not talking about limited human love I am talking about agape love God’s love. A love that has no limits that are unconditional this love I have for God, myself, and my fellow human beings (Matthew 22:37-40). Love is about doing things for the individual and having an unselfish concern for them and wants the best for them. I do my best to perform this type of love for everyone, regardless of how awful they treat me.

Much Love and Many Blessings,

Robin

Follow the Son

The sunflower is one of the most gorgeous flowers in the world. I always liked them, but I wasn’t interested in them until 2017. The sunflowers means adoration – a deep love for someone or something, loyalty – sticking with someone or something through it all and longevity – staying around for a long time. I want all three elements of the sunflower to be a reflection of my life. As you can see, I have a picture of a sunflower at the top of my blog and the top of this paragraph. A significant part of the sunflower is they are named after the sun the flower is extraordinary in that way can give energy in the form of food, and provide dynamic quality traits which reflect the sun and the energy that is supplied by

Its warmth and light. Sunflower is known as happy flowers, making them an excellent gift to give joy to someone’s day or your day. The sunflower is always following the sun where the sun goes the flower goes it doesn’t follow anyone else. We can apply that to our Christian life to always follow Jesus. Whoever you follow affects your life we follow Jesus; he affects our lives; this is shown in our actions, especially if they are right. There is no need to follow anyone else because he knows the way he is the way ( John 14:6). Let’s be like the sunflower following the son once we do that we will always reach our destination.

A quote by Billy Graham

I posted this picture on my Instagram account on Wednesday morning. The late Reverend Billy Graham was so right when he said this quote. Many Christians don’t to do what it says in this picture because they want to judge or convict people who are has a different religion who are gay or lesbian and who have sin. We as Christians is not our jobs to convict, judge or change anyone our jobs is to love everyone with a agape love. You let God and the Holy Spirit do their jobs, and you do your job.

Money can’t buy

Money can buy you porn to fulfill your sexual void,
But not love your spouse to cherish and to hold.
Money can buy you followers to stay for a day,
But not loyalty where friends are joyous to stay with you to play.
Money can buy you a ticket to go to an amusement park to experience the thrills,
But not peace to calm your personal ills.
Money can buy you the spotlight,
But not respect where you earn the right.

Money can buy you a ticket to see a comedy show,
But not joy where you can bestow.
Money can buy you a magazine where you look at women that are beautiful,
But not inner beauty where you can look fruitful.
Money can buy you a ticket to be on the voice to show out your musical ability,
But not talent where you show your capability.
Money can buy you a house where you can put furniture to roam,
But not a home where you call it your own.

Money can buy you a cell phone to call,
But not family to be with you through it all.
Money can buy you a subscription to watch Netflix,
But not to wisdom to deal with the tricks.
Money can buy a gym membership,
But not strength to go through the hardship.
Money can buy you clothes,
But not confidence that gives you a chance to grow.

Money can buy you a book,
But knowledge where you cannot be a crook.
Money can buy you an education,
But not a brain that full is of determination.

Much Love and Many Blessings,

Robin

Mind your own Business

Make it your ambition to lead a quite life: you should mind your own business and work with your hands, just as we told you.
1 Thessalonians 4:11 (NIV)

On Tuesday, February 6, 2018, I told a classmate a little too much of my business while I was telling her she got carried away. I felt attack and judge by her what I should have said to her is mind your business and keep it moving end of discussion. I felt bad telling her my business after I have realized what I did I apologize that was my fault I will continue to never tell anybody my business I do a good job minding own my business and not telling nobody else but there are times that I do tell it from that I start to getting in trouble getting mad at people that want to give their advice about it. That is one of the areas I come up short in I need to do better in that area of not telling people my business. You know, we live in a social media world where anybody can tell their business thinking someone would care nobody won’t they won’t understand it especially if they haven’t experienced the situation before. They are not going to help you and most of all, it doesn’t concern them. When a person sees another person business on social media they give their advice takes it and runs with it while they are running with it they get it twisted from there it’s a problem. To keep that from happening is don’t say anything about it or don’t put it up on social media that’s where the quote comes in that says silence is golden (Carlyle, 1831) from that they won’t have anything to say. Who you need to tell your business to is the Lord because he is the only person that can work it out and he is the only person you need to tell it to here are 4 reasons we need to mind our own business and leaving other people business alone.

1. They didn’t ask for your advice.
If they wanted your advice on how to handle a situation they would have asked you other than that, back away.

2. You don’t know the situation.
If you don’t know the situation don’t talk about it because you don’t know the reason behind that situation that it is happening. You just looking on the outside you are not on the inside.

3. It doesn’t concern you.
If that person is in a situation that they are experiencing, you don’t know anything about it you don’t understand it you never experienced it and you don’t know that person either back away or if you do know that person still, back away it doesn’t concern you.

4. Don’t gossip
Once a person tells their business to another person they tell it to everybody else they misinterpret the words from what the original person has said from that it is gossip. If it comes to say you say I don’t know anything about it or just to get away from it say I have to go it is not good to gossip about anybody business especially if it not yours. You wouldn’t want your business to be the topic of discussion if it turns to be gossip.

I made up a metaphor after a woman that I know got into my business it describes minding your own business it goes like this. Why don’t you pay attention what’s happening in your own backyard than looking over the fence at mines.

Living the Beatitudes in your everyday life.

If you already know the beatitudes you know living the beatitudes in your everyday life is very important (Examples of living out the Beatitudes, n.d.). The motivation behind the beatitudes is to move you to act in a Christlike way. In this manner, living them is totally at the core of the matter (Examples of living out the Beatitudes, n.d.). The best way to deal with this subject will be for us to experience the beatitudes one by one, featuring how individuals can experience each beatitude. All of these demonstrations are excellent(Examples of living out the Beatitudes, n.d.).

Blessed (happy to be envied and spiritually prosperous – with life-joy and satisfaction in God’s favor and salvation, regardless of their outward conditions) are the poor in spirit (the humble, who rate themselves insignificant,) for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:3 (AMPC)

An individual prays each day and stands in the gap to pray for others and gives up their whole free time to volunteer.

Blessed and enviably happy [with a happiness produced by the experience of God’s favor and especially conditioned by the revelation of his matches grace are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. Matthew 5:4 (AMPC)

An individual loses a very close family member they won’t see them on earth. If that family member has a relationship with Jesus Christ, they will be comforted because they are in the presence of the Lord and God will accommodate that individual by enabling them to rejoin with that close family member.

Blessed and enviably happy [with a happiness produced by the experience of God’s favor and salvation, are the meek (the mild, patient, long-suffering), for they shall inherit the earth. Matthew 5:5 (AMPC)

Individual show hospitality to a destitute individual by feeding them, giving them a beautiful place to stay, giving them good and warm clothes, giving them a warm and good bath, fixing their hair nicely and having a good conversation with them.

Blessed and fortune and happy and spiritually prosperous (in that state in which the born-again child of God enjoys His favor and salvation are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God), for they shall be completely satisfied. Matthew 5:6 (AMPC)

When individuals see that an unjust law has been put in place by Congress that can harm their community. They march and protest peacefully against that unfair law to tell Congress that the law they have put in place is not right and it must end. After months of marching and protesting Congress has heard the people they end the unfair law and the people are satisfied.

Blessed (happy, to be envied, and spiritually prosperous – with life-joy and satisfaction in God’s favor and satisfaction, regardless of their outward conditions) are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. Matthew 5:7 (AMPC)

When someone forgives another person show mercy to them that person knows the feeling of being forgiven and shown mercy because they were shown mercy and forgiveness by another person, so that makes them pass on the mercy and forgiveness to someone else.

Blessed (happy, enviably fortunate, and spiritually prosperous- possessing the happiness produced by the experience of God’s favor and especially conditioned by the revelation of his grace, regardless of their outward conditions) are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Matthew 5:8 (AMPC)

When children play together at a park, they don’t see any bias, prejudice or color of the other children. They see children who look like them they have no hate in their hearts only pure love and they are having fun.

Blessed (enjoying enviable happiness, spiritually prosperous – with life-joy and satisfaction in God’s favor and salvation regardless of their outward conditions) are the makers and maintainers of peace, for they shall be called the sons of God. Matthew 5:9 (AMPC)

When the two friends thought about the grudge they were holding against each other was stupid. They decided to end the animosity and rebuild their friendship because their friendship was more important than that grudge.

Blessed and happy and enviably fortunate and spiritually prosperous (in the state in which the born-again child of God enjoys and finds satisfaction in God’s favor and salvation, regardless of his outward conditions) are those who are persecuted for righteousness’s sake (for being and doing right,) for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:10 (AMPC)

For a Christian to stick with their beliefs, they believe they are doing the right thing. They expect people not to like it, to disagree and go against them. It doesn’t matter how much persecution they get they will continue to stand on their beliefs.

Unmistakably, there are many ways by which the beatitudes become an integral factor in your everyday life. There are positively numerous of ways by which these principals can be lived out also (Examples of living out the Beatitudes, n.d.).
